Affordable treatment for those who need it

Tamarack Recovery Centre Inc. is a non-profit, registered charity. We receive partial funding from the Manitoba government and make up the shortfall by charging a per diem fee to all clients in the residential program.

Tamarack endeavours to provide affordable treatment so that our high-quality addictions services are accessible to as many people as possible. Fees are $12,000 (including tax) for the 60-day program and include:

  • all pre-treatment program support
  • all counselling, workshops and groups
  • all meals
  • accommodation in shared rooms with ensuite or private facilities
  • ongoing, unlimited, free of charge aftercare support following completion of the program

There are no hidden ‘extras.’

Payment

Due to donors’ generous support, on occasion, we can accommodate partial or completely funded spots for those unable to finance their treatment. With the Manitoba government’s support, we are also able to offer a limited number of funded treatment spots for those in receipt of Employment and Income Assistance benefits.

Tamarack is also an approved provider for Medicard, which enables qualifying individuals to immediately access funds for treatment at competitive interest rates and with low monthly payments.

We accept payments in cash, by personal cheque, Interac, Visa and Mastercard. Our interest-free payment plan allows for fees to be paid in two installments if preferred. Tamarack must receive at least one payment installment prior to a client commencing the residential program.

We strive to meet the needs of individuals requiring the services of a support worker. We will consider each situation on a case-by-case basis to ensure such support does not negatively impact the client’s financial situation.

FAQs

Tamarack’s residential treatment program is 60 days. An extended 78-day treatment program is available for individuals who do not yet have 28 days free of alcohol/drugs. If you feel you’d benefit from additional time in treatment, we can tailor an extended program to suit you. We also offer ongoing aftercare support to all graduate clients.  

We manage our waitlist carefully to ensure that you can receive support quickly and access treatment in a timely way. If you meet all the requirements, you could be in treatment right away. If you’re ready to take the next step towards recovery, fill out our Intake Form.

Tamarack graduates are individuals who have completed the full treatment program. As a graduate, they are entitled to twelve follow-up counselling sessions and unlimited aftercare support.
